Chief Executive Officer

The Blacktown Workers Club Group is recruiting a Chief Executive Officer to run the Clubs three (3) venues across Western Sydney in a dynamic and progressive role that includes all aspects of a large hospitality operation.

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO will manage a large workforce and multiple contractors at the Blacktown Workers main Club, the Sports Club and the Hubertus Country Club. Our portfolio currently includes:

  • 579 gaming machines
  • Eight (8) dining options (In-house and contracted options)
  • Functions and events at each venue
  • Large multi complex sporting fields and over 30 specialty sub clubs
  • Major partnership and sponsorship contracts are in place
  • 52,500 plus members and growing
  • Commercial property holdings and external property management
  • A fitness centre
  • 225 employees
  • Management of our ClubGRANTS and Community Projects
  • Three (3) unique entertainment venues with multiple offerings
  • Multiple large and complex building developments across various projects

(Some have already commenced and some are in the works)

The CEO will lead a very talented and diverse team of Senior Managers across our Gaming, Food and Beverage, Marketing, Membership, Human Resources, Finance Management and Entertainment portfolios.

We are in a financially robust position, the desired CEO will be required to clearly show a demonstrated high level of proven experience in managing a growing and ever-changing business. The Club has plans for future growth in the Aged Care sector, an interest in the new Western Sydney Airport and in cementing the entire Group as a Club leader in the industry.  There are current contracts in place in excess of $32 million dollars that need thoughtful management and strategic leadership.

The CEO will be required to work with the Board and Management team to achieve:

  • Excellent Financial Results
  • Manage the Annual and Long Term Strategic Plans across the Group
  • Grow the business across each portfolio area
  • Develop new and innovative strategies for the diversification of our multiple businesses
