The role of Senior Manager, Clearing Regulation is a key position in the Department delivering the State's program to regulate the clearing of native vegetation under Part V Division 2 of the Environmental Protection Act 1986 (Act).

This exciting and challenging senior management role ensures the timely delivery of the statutory processes for the clearing provisions under the Act, including the management of a diverse team of professionals, to ensure decision making is within published time frames.

The successful applicant will have proven managerial and program delivery skills and a proven track record in managing relationships with key stakeholders.

Candidates who have a demonstrated experience in management of regulatory processes and a sound knowledge of Western Australian flora, fauna and natural ecosystems will be highly regarded.
