We are seeking a visionary and hands-on Head of Advanced Analytics to spearhead our Advanced Analytics team and drive innovation that will redefine our way of working, this is your chance to lead a team that is rewriting the rules and shaping the future of our business!

A day in life…

As the Head of Advanced Analytics, you will be at the forefront of our transformation journey. As we redefine the rules and chart a new course for our business, we're looking for a leader who thrives on challenges and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves. Leading a small but highly talented team of two individuals, you will set the agenda for Advanced Analytics within our business transformation via the development and execution of an analytics strategy that delivers business growth via sophisticated models to predict trends, optimize processes and extract insights from data.

Reporting to the Data & Strategic Intelligence Director, you will:

• Lead and mentor your team to push boundaries and deliver high-quality analytics solutions.
• Rolling up your sleeves and diving into data to establish a strong foundation for Advanced Analytics.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to craft a bold vision for Advanced Analytics that aligns with our transformation goals across all functions.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs, identify the big valuable problems and translate them into analytics requirements.
• Drive the development and implementation of cutting-edge analytics solutions that will improve our business processes.
• Oversee the selection and implementation of tools and technologies, optimising infrastructure for scalability and performance.
• Embrace ambiguity as an opportunity to innovate and lead the way in shaping our future.

What skills and qualities are we looking for? 

• A visionary mindset, a passion for driving transformational change, and a track record of driving results in a dynamic environment.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
• Advanced degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Statistics or Computer Science.
• Proven expertise in statistical modelling, machine learning, and data visualisation.
• Proficiency in Python language is a must; experience with AWS is highly desirable.
• Experience in data-driven personalisation engines and GenAI for Marketing automation would be highly beneficial.
