The City of Moreland is a fast growing city and home to more than 170,000 residents who are culturally and linguistically diverse, speaking more than 140 different languages. We are seeking a strategic and inspirational leader who is future focused and collaborative, with a track record of delivering results. You will be politically astute, have a strong community focus and demonstrate the ability to build and maintain relationships that support strategic outcomes. 

You will focus on establishing and overseeing effective governance structures that support the management of Council business with appropriate oversight and accountability. You will drive a sophisticated approach to risk and audit functions as a lever for positive business enhancement that will enhance organisational performance through governance structures shaped by internal (e.g. Council Vision, Council Plan, Policies, Procedures) and external (e.g. laws, regulations, community expectations) requirements. You will also ensure excellent service to your internal customers while working across the organisation to embed desired practices.
