ICS Project Manager - 12 months fixed term

 

About the Role

As Victoria's community grows so does FRV's ICS team who lead the way for FRV's tech advancement.

Our ICS team is a busy and dynamic part of our service delivery goals to our key stakeholders, internal and external and the community we serve.

To manage the growing ICS needs FRV is looking for a new Project Manager (PM).

As an ICS PM you will have demonstrated experience in successfully managing end to end ICT projects.  You readily understand the application of waterfall or agile project methodologies and associated change as well as managing financial disciplines.  

You are experienced in preparing and presenting professional project management reporting and briefing materials for senior management while managing multiple projects at the same time.

Your functions include:

  • You to drive recognised and appropriate project management standards, principles and methodology (e.g. PRINCE2, PMBOK, Agile) across all aspects of the project management life cycle.
  • Experience to manage project scope, quality, schedule, budget and benefits. 
  • Project revision and reporting on project risks, issues, dependencies, assumptions and develop mitigation and resolution plans.
  • As the PM you are tasked with ensuring adherence to procurement practices with respect to goods and services to ensure ICS projects are run efficiently and within budget parameters.

What you will need to succeed in this role

To be successful in this position, you will be an experienced IT / ICS Project Manager:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent professional / business experience 
  • Certification in a Project Management methodology (PRINCE2 or PMBOK) is highly desirable 
  • AIPM RegPM Certification is highly desirable
