  • Achieve annual savings targets for both Direct and Indirect expenditure. 
  • Develop and deliver quarterly and annual reports on savings, commercial contract values, and strategy outcomes. 
  • Ensure procurement outcomes align with Procurement Policy. 
  • Contribute to strategic development of Annual Corporate Plan and Budgeting. 
  • Refine procurement policies and operating procedures. 
  • Support management decisions to maximise short, medium, and long-term profitability through procurement initiatives. 
  • Manage vehicle fleet program to maximise savings, utilization, and emission reduction. 
  • Drive policy compliance and spend effectiveness through strategic reporting and analysis. 
  • Develop and sustain procurement service delivery initiatives to strengthen the business. 
  • Centralise day-to-day procurement activities according to agreed timelines and strategies. 
  • Audit cross-functional compliance with Procurement and Supply Chain Policy and Procedures. 
  • Implement a P2P system for managing and reporting on all procurement, inventory, and commercial contract activities. 
  • Lead and develop Procurement and Supply Chain teams to ensure strong delivery of objectives, including supplier relationship management, inventory management, logistics optimization, and risk management. 

What you’ll bring 

  • 10+ years of professional experience in a similar role at senior management level 
  • Degree level qualifications in Finance, or Supply Chain/Procurement
  • Deep knowledge of supply chain and business management principles 
  • Leadership and people management experience is essential 
  • Experience in the Procure to Pay process processes and continual improvements 
  • Highly developed writing skills for various documents including tenders, business cases, and reports 
  • Strategic mindset with experience in strategy development and execution 
  • Program and project management skills  
  • Strong analytical and data driven decisioning skills 
  • Knowledge in Commonwealth Procurement rules and logistics (desirable) 
  • Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply or Member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply Qualified (desirable)
