The role

Reporting to the Chief Officer Assets and Operations, our General Manager Operations is responsible for leading multi-disciplinary teams and ensures overall reliable operations, while building resilience in the people, equipment, systems, and processes balanced with contemporary risk and safety management. This role oversees both insourced and outsourced operations for Coliban and would suit someone with transformational leadership experience. Over the next period, there will also be a focus on articulating and implementing a future-focused target operating model.

To be considered for this opportunity, we are seeking an inspirational, dynamic, and contemporary leader with expertise in Innovation, sustainability and a passion for great customer and community outcomes. To support your transition into the organisation, you will have previous expertise in leading technical teams in operational roles within a regulated environment.

You will also demonstrate high levels of emotional intelligence and exemplary communication skills which allow you to establish and maintain credible and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders both internal and external to our organisation. You are highly regarded for empowering your people and your ability to enhance efficiency, performance, and collaboration within high performing teams.
