The role

Reporting to the Chief Officer Assets and Operations, our General Manager Asset Lifecycle is responsible for leading multi-disciplinary teams. The role ensures effective management of the future planning, engineering design, construction and commissioning of the assets and works that enable the provision of water and wastewater. This role will lead and drive the teams that ensure the assets planned, designed, and constructed meet the current and future needs of Coliban Water customers, are integrated with organisational strategies and comply with all safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.

About you

To be considered for this role, you will be a leader who has expertise in all aspects of management in a business systems environment, coupled with strong strategic planning and execution, and project management experience. The ability to effectively lead a team through a change process is essential.

You will also demonstrate high levels of emotional intelligence and exemplary communication skills which allow you to establish and maintain credible and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders both internal and external to our organisation. You are highly regarded for empowering your people and your ability to enhance resilience, performance, and collaboration within high performing teams.
