The opportunity
The primary objective/s of the position are to:

• Lead, promote and enhance a culture of high performance, through leading by example and providing exceptional, timely and high-quality analytical and sampling services to internal and external customers. 
• To maintain the laboratory’s quality systems, NATA, DHHS accreditations and OH&S systems. 
• To liaise with key customers to develop and maintain clearly defined service levels and contractual arrangements for the provision of laboratory services. 
• To work under broad direction in terms of authorities, policies, and regulatory requirements to ensure the organisation’s goals are achieved efficiently and effectively.
• Lead, develop and grow a culture of high performance by providing exceptional, timely and high-quality analytical and sampling services to internal and external customers.

About you

This means you care deeply about the physical and psychological safety of people so that our team return home in great shape at the end of the day.
We’d love to hear from you if you have:

• Proven senior experience with the operations of a NATA accredited analytical services laboratory.
• Demonstrated team leadership and management experience including demonstrated ability to operate in a commercial environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven experience in managing multi-disciplined teams using values-based leadership with a focus on integrity and developing high performing teams.
• Demonstrated ability to identify a need for change and respond with initiatives that continue to further improve CHW.
