The opportunity
The primary objective/s of the position are to:
- Lead, promote and enhance a culture of high performance, through leading by example and providing exceptional, timely and high-quality analytical and sampling services to internal and external customers.
- To maintain the laboratory’s quality systems, NATA, DHHS accreditations and OH&S systems.
- To liaise with key customers to develop and maintain clearly defined service levels and contractual arrangements for the provision of laboratory services.
- To work under broad direction in terms of authorities, policies, and regulatory requirements to ensure the organisation’s goals are achieved efficiently and effectively.
- Lead, develop and grow a culture of high performance by providing exceptional, timely and high-quality analytical and sampling services to internal and external customers.
About you

We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- Proven senior experience with the operations of a NATA accredited analytical services laboratory.
- Demonstrated team leadership and management experience including demonstrated ability to operate in a commercial environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven experience in managing multi-disciplined teams using values-based leadership with a focus on integrity and developing high performing teams.
- Demonstrated ability to identify a need for change and respond with initiatives that continue to further improve CHW.
