Head of IT Delivery

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee all IT projects to ensure that they remain in-scope, on time and within budget.
  • Lead and mentor the project delivery team including project managers, business analysts, subject matter experts and other project delivery resources
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to document project scope, deliverables, goals, risks, and benefits
  • Excellent project management skills including prioritisation, scheduling, and documentation.
  • Provide project reporting for all IT projects, including achievement of key milestones, resource forecasting and risks.
  • Prepare regular status reporting for extended leadership team

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in project management, business management, technology or related area of study.
  • 10+ years of experience as a Head of IT Delivery, Project Delivery or Project Management function or similar position responsible for defining and managing project scope, timelines, profitability, and effective delivery of products or services.
  • Proven track record for planning, executing, controlling and closing projects and the ability to manage a project and its components simultaneously with minimal supervision.
  • Experience of managing the complete lifecycle of a project with project teams of 10+ people.
  • Experience of project management using AGILE or PRINCE2 methodology (or equivalent) for medium to large sized projects
  • PMI or PMP certification, PRINCE2 Foundation/Practitioner or similar from an accredited organization.
  • Experience in the carparking industry or related field such as smart cities, technology infrastructure and enterprise applications is preferred but not essential
  • Excellent people management and mentoring skills
  • Strong stakeholder management ability
