A former executive of Emirates Park Stud has been charged with fraud offences totalling nearly $15 million.

Police announced the arrest of Rajesh Upadhyaya after it was found that he was suspected of a number of offences relating to fraudulent activities against the Hunter Valley stud farm.

The arrest follows a six month investigation after police were contacted by auditors.
