About the Role

We are looking for agile and enthusiastic people with sound judgment and high personal integrity, who have capability and experience in one or more of the following areas: HR policy, employee relations or conduct standards; complex policy development or project management; employment or administrative law; complaint handling; governance, risk management, or stakeholder engagement.

The APS Work Level Standards (WLS) detail the characteristics, and functions relevant to APS employees at the APS-6 and EL-1 level and contain general statements about the broad job requirements, and operating context for each classification level. The Commission is seeking candidates who possess skills and attributes aligned to the corresponding WLS.

Additionally, the Secretaries’ Charter of Leadership Behaviours sets out the behaviours Secretaries expect of themselves and SES, and want to see in leaders at all levels of the APS. Regardless of classification, you will be expected to model and champion the behaviours outlined in the Secretaries Charter of Leadership Behaviours - DRIVE.
