About the role
The Lead, Teaching Standards and Accreditation provides leadership of the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) teacher accreditation policies, procedures, and processes. This role involves identifying current and emerging issues and solutions in teacher accreditation, proactively driving improvements in services for teachers and other key stakeholders throughout NSW, ensuring that outcomes align with organisational goals and government reforms.
On a day-to-day basis you will:
As our ideal candidate, you will have experience leading and inspiring high performing teams and managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. You are a flexible, adaptable and agile leader with knowledge of teacher accreditation at both state and national levels. Your background in teaching, coupled with your knowledge of internal government policies and procedures in relation to teaching standards and accreditation will be a foundation for success in the role.
