Associate Engineer/ Director- Structural

About the Role

Looking for an Associate Structural Engineer/Director for a well-known engineering consultancy, where you will be responsible for planning, managing and delivering engineering projects across Australia.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Leading, mentoring and developing a team of engineers across structural projects
• Pursue new opportunities for the structural divisions through active business development.
• Manage and resolve project issues and consider construction costings and practices in the design process,

This is a great opportunity for a Senior Structural Engineer looking to step up into a leadership role within a reputable Engineering Consulting firm.

Key Criteria

To be considered for the role of Associate Structural Engineer/Director you will need to demonstrate the following experience and skills:

• Formal Civil/Structural Engineering qualifications that is recognised by Engineers Australia.
• 8-15 years experience as a Structurall Engineer with a strong background executing transport/resources/energy/buildings projects within Australia
• Chartered member (CPeng) of Institute of Engineers Australiia
• Excellent Business Development skills
• Ability to liaise with project managers and architects effectively
• Ability to review designs, good problem solving skills and good understanding of commercial risk with contract management experience.
• Current working rights for Australia
