The opportunity
This pivotal position will play a significant role in transformational change to enable us to successfully expand our asset management capability. This role will have a strong focus on technology platforms coupled with responsibility in the establishment and management of data strategy and governance frameworks for Investment. This includes data management implementation, reporting and data analytics, and operational vendor oversight ensuring the creation of a sustainable environment all investment systems and data.
As an experienced senior leader, you will make a significant impact on our business by leading the development and implementation of the Investments operating platform and framework, including systems architecture and systems design and development. Reporting to Head of Investment Execution, you will be working closely with a wide variety of stakeholders partnering with the Investment Management team.
To ensure success in the role, you will have:
- A background in investment business architecture, process design, process improvement
- A strong understanding of investment systems interaction and relational databases
- Experience with analytic, data visualization, programming languages
- Experience in performance measurement, peer analysis, performance attribution, risk management and compliance reporting
- Demonstrated experience in timeliness and quality of data analytics and reporting to meet the needs of investment teams
- Experience leading a technical team
You will be a member of the Leadership Team, both within Investments and across the broader HESTA organisation, having input into business strategy and culture.
