About the team 

Our technology transformation team is here to drive efficiency, improving the ways of working for all our technology team so we can deliver great service for our business and ultimately our customers. 

We do this through listening, collaborating and action to deliver value supported by great change management to ensure transformation sticks. 

About the role 

Directly reporting to the General Manager of Technology Strategy, Transformation and Architecture, this role is accountable  for the design, delivery and embedding of sustainable transformation initiatives that maximise technology’s value. 

To achieve this you will head a multi-disciplinary team of technologists, architects, finance, people & culture and other subject matter experts to design and implement a new operating model touching all manner of process, people and tooling.

About you & your skills 

You are someone who has demonstrated experience leading a large scale and high pace Transformation program of work preferably within a technology and/or retail environment (although not essential) 

You’ll also ideally have some (but not all) of the following experience: 

  • Proven track record in the successful delivery of operating model changes adopting Product/Platform Models and agile practices in a large complex organisation 
  • Strong understanding of business transformation, digital, technology and change delivery  
  • Influential executive/board level interpersonal and communication skills coupled with exceptional engagement skills. 
  • Demonstrated experience of executing through others, specifically creating a common vision and influencing peers towards executing against it as part of a broad transformation program 
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise activities in accordance with available resources and business needs 
  • Appropriate Graduate / post-graduate qualification/s such as Business Management, MBA . Technology or similar 
  • Demonstrated ability to bring together experienced, high performing and intelligent people from across multiple functions to deliver to a common objective
