The Opportunity
The MNCLHD are currently seeking a Cyber Security Risk Manager. The position is responsible for the overall management, leadership, application of governance and rigour to Cyber Security as well as implementing and maintaining the Mid North Coast Local Health District (MNCLHD) Cyber Security Management strategy to ensure compliance with NSW Cyber Security Policy and the ACSC Essential 8 as well as the implementation, management and co-ordination of activity related to Information Security Management System (ISMS) framework.
The Cyber Security Manager is the design authority who will provide architectural leadership to the development of security solutions to all digital information security challenges; and is responsible for performing risk and vulnerability assessments and reviews and conducts proactive research to identify and understand new threats, vulnerabilities and exploits impacting clients’ environment.
About You
You will have strong communication skills with proven experience with stakeholders at all levels, demonstrated experience in leading the development and governance of security solutions and operations aligned with NSW Government Cyber Security policy including Essential 8 strategies to mitigate cyber security incidents. You will need demonstrated experience in developing, documenting and maintaining information security, cyber security policies, procedures, guidelines, standards and processes.

The Organisation
The Mid North Coast Local Health District (MNCLHD) is a government?funded health organisation that covers an area of 11,335 square kilometres extending from Port Macquarie in the south to Coffs Harbour in the north. MNCLHD provides a diverse range of services to a population of approximately 215,000 people. It has a workforce of 4,694 across seven hospital sites and 12 Community Health Centres.
Salary will be accordance with NSW Health State Awards for the advertised classification/s. These awards are available at http://www.health.nsw.gov.au/careers/conditions/pages/default.aspx.

- Demonstrated experience in leading the development and governance of security solutions and operations aligned with the NSW Government Cyber Security Policy including the Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC) Essential 8 strategies to mitigate cyber security incidents.
- Demonstrated experience and awareness of cyber security frameworks, including the development of associated strategies, policies, standards and guidelines.
- Demonstrated excellent analytical skills including the ability to analyse and interpret complex information from numerous sources, prepare and present analysis and reports, deal with challenges creatively and make recommendations to achieve cyber security planning and solutions.
- Demonstrated experience in developing, documenting and maintaining information security, cyber security policies, procedures, guidelines, standards and processes.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and manage to resolution with relevant ICT teams, cyber security incidents, exposures and non-compliance with proven experience to develop appropriate contemporary information security solutions.
- Well-developed interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing key stakeholders and customers, and to lead a multidisciplinary team to influence and achieve optimal business outcomes.
- Current Drivers Licence and ability to travel as required.
