Head of People Experience

We are seeking an exceptional leader to join our team as the Head of People Experience. In this pivotal role, you will support the execution of the RBA’s People Strategy through delivering best in class People operations.  You will be responsible for employee contracts and onboarding, the employee service desk, HR data and analysis, and maximising the value out of Workday and other people technology. You will help shape the future of the People department at the RBA and will be an integral member of the People Leadership Team.

This role will report to the Chief People Officer and will work closely with all functions across the People Team to create an employee experience that enables the RBA to attract and retain outstanding talent.

Your background

  • Extensive experience in leading People Operations teams and HR transformation with a true passion for building and implementing services that deliver value and impact
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing HR service models
  • Strong operational knowledge of Workday is essential
  • Demonstrated experience in using/introducing people technology to improve and simplify the employee experience
  • Thorough understanding of employment legislation and the regulatory environment
  • Collaborative and creative leader who can foster a culture of trust, accountability, and innovation
  • Demonstrated use of data to generate insights and enable strategic decision making and action
  • Proven experience in growing teams to achieve excellence in employee experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • A passion for staying abreast of industry trends and leading HR practices
  • Strong analytical skills to adapt strategies and respond to changing organisational needs.
  • Experience in client centred design, continuous improvement, and simplification programs
  • Passion for driving organisational change


  • Degree in HR, Psychology, or related discipline desirable
