What you'll do

The Head of Technology Strategy is an exciting new role within The Lottery Corporation, bringing our Technology and Strategy teams together.

  • Partner with technology teams to define and articulate high-level technology strategies that align with the overall business strategy.
  • Optimise technology investments through the evaluation of ROI, business value, and strategic alignment as a means of prioritisation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technology initiatives that are critical enablers of the business' strategic priorities.
  • Work with the CIO to define key measure of success for tech strategy and track the progress
  • Develop technology strategy initiatives to ensure solutions deliver growth in the most efficient way.

What you'll bring

  • As a strategic thinker you will have a deep understanding of technology and the ability to forge strong partnerships between business and technology teams.
  • Ability to work in a consultant or advisor type capacity to capture information from a broad set of stakeholders and manage outcomes aligned to business objectives
  • A strong customer mindset and understanding of the core product and delivery drivers of the business and the key role of technology as an enabler of business and customer value.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to understand and appreciate investment trade-offs, risks and pitfalls of technology investments to enable effective prioritisation.
  • Ability to persuade and influence across a range of audiences, including executive level
  • Ability to identify resourcing requirements, conflicts or barriers to achieve objectives.
