Senior Business Analyst 

As we evolve our technologies and services to support a modern, agile and productive public sector, the Cyber Security Business Analyst plays an important role in the future of Cenitex. Reporting to the Team Lead Architecture within the Infrastructure Services division, the role will see you working across multiple projects performing data gathering and requirements elicitation with a focus on asset discovery and capability modelling.

Day to day you'll be expected to:

  • Ensure relevant requirements, data and/or processes are gathered, analysed and validated.
  • Work with the various stakeholders to understand and document required outcomes.
  • Work with the various internal operational functions to understand their issues and assist with solution/s definition.
  • Conduct interviews and run workshops with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure all transitional requirements are captured, defined and documented.
  • Ensure accuracy of detailed requirements that business context input into the relevant customer and internal projects.
  • Review projects, actions and initiative scopes to ensure that defined requirements are covered

To be a success in this role you will have:

  • Specialist Expertise and Experience
  • Extensive experience working in data and requirements gathering, including asset discovery, and in business analysis, including capability models, in support of cybersecurity Projects/Programs within project management methodology in large and diverse organisations.
  • Experience in the use of government and industry security standards such as VPDSS, NIST, ISO 27001, ISM, PSPF and COBIT. Knowledge of the nature of cyber threats and protection strategies would also of advantage.

  • Strong research and analytical skills, with proven ability to collate, assess and consider data/information/issues from different perspectives, present clear and meaningful information, and draw commercially sound recommendations.

  • Dedication to customer service with demonstrated experience in leading and implementing initiatives that deliver improved customer experience.
