This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced senior manager in education to join a very successful and highly regarded Australian organisation as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in Education.
The CEO is responsible for the execution of the strategic direction as established by the Board and Managing Director and detailed in the organisation’s five year business plan. The CEO is responsible and accountable for ensuring the delivery, growth and profitability of its training and education business and other programs with contractual requirements set out by ASQA, funding bodies and other Government Agencies
The successful candidate will be an inspirational leader with a strong commercial background, a deep interest in education and current developments in the industry, proven results in business growth, exceptional communication skills and stakeholder management and a record of success in the education sector.
You will have the following skills:
  • Demonstrated experience in leading a substantial education and/or training business
  • Demonstrated experience at a board and/or strategic level
  • Relationship management skills with training, mentoring and coaching
  • Knowledge of RTO compliance framework and best practice
  • Excellent business acumen and experience in growing business
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and staff management skills
  • Experience in delivering customer focused services
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with a broad range of stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to manage probity and risk management within Compliance of Quality Control and Assurance frameworks, Government and external scrutiny
You will have:
  • Knowledge of regional labour market trends, employment skills shortages
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Registered Training Organisation and Education industry (ASQA Compliance framework, guidelines, management, and performance systems).
  • WHS, HR & relevant legislative requirements
