Community Engagement Officer

Tenure: Full Time / Fixed Term Contract (2 years) 
Location: Echuca

The Community Engagement Officer will provide support to the Community Engagement Manager and team, working collaboratively with the communities across Campaspe to strengthen and support their links with council.

To be successful for this role you will require:

  • Relevant qualifications and experience in Community Engagement.
  • Excellent community engagement skills, including ability to connect with the community and conduct workshop facilitation.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement the IAP2 model.
  • Ability to communicate and build positive relationships with all levels of Council, community and external sources as required.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining customer databases.
  • Demonstrated strong report and submission writing skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to and proven understanding of the Place Based Planning philosophy.
