What will you do?

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Organisational Development and Talent Coordinator to support Kmart Group's Talent and Engagement agenda. This role will partner with the People & Capability team and leaders across the Kmart Group in the design, development, coordination and implementation of highly effective and measurable talent and engagement solutions that align to our strategy and values. As the Talent and Engagement Coordinator you will support, coordinate and administer several exciting Talent & Engagement projects and initiatives including  reward and recognition, engagement surveys, performance and talent across the Kmart Group.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating the Kmart Group reward & recognition programs
  • Coordinating the bi-annual achievement & growth (performance) process
  • Supporting engagement and employee experience surveys
  • Providing co-ordination and administration support across the Talent & Engagement Team
  • Contributing to and supporting other Talent & Engagement projects that support the delivery of our People Plan

What are we looking for?

The ideal candidate will preferably have or be working  towards relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources or similar and experience in a similar role (HR, OD or similar field)

Based between both the Target Support Office in Williams Landing (West Melbourne) and Kmart’s National Office in Mulgrave, this role reports to the Talent & Engagement Manager and will form a critical position within the Kmart Group Talent & Engagement team. 

As a born organiser with a ‘can do’ attitude, you excel at program coordination, project management and prioritisation and can manage high volumes of work whilst maintaining exceptional attention to detail and keeping your stakeholders informed.

You will need excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong skills in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). You have the proven ability to work effectively in an environment of high activity, competing priorities and time pressure and working collaboratively to build an inclusive culture is essential.
