The Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC) is a leading advocacy organisation for people seeking asylum.  We are a value-driven organisation that strives to be part of a movement that helps people seeking asylum by providing direct services such as assistance with accommodation, food provisions, casework and legal services. We campaign and lobby with our sector to drive law reform and policy change.  

About The Role
 
Reporting directly to the Founder and CEO, this newly created role will be pivotal in leading, designing and delivering cultural transformation projects and people focused organisational strategies. The incumbent will empower and provide leadership, coaching and autonomy to the newly appointed HR partners to deliver their “core HR activities” and strategic projects. The role will form part of the ASRC Leadership Team and work closely with key stakeholders to shape and lead the Culture and Values transformation in our growing organisation.
 
About You
 
As a strategic and operationally focused HR professional who holds extensive experience in driving organisational change and culture transformation you will possess the following skills and expertise:
  • Relevant experience in Human Resources within dynamic and growing environments
  • Proven ability to lead cultural transformation in collaboration with a wide array of stakeholders
  • Strong strategic and operational capability in order to both design and deliver against the transformation plan.
  • Experience in delivering change management projects  within a growing organisation and/or business
  • Strong consultative skills with a commitment to high quality execution
  • Strong influencing, negotiation and leadership/coaching capabilities
