The Department of Defence is seeking to fill a Senior Executive Service Band 1 position within the Australian Geospatial-Intelligence Organisation.
The Assistant Secretary Capability and Executive position is responsible for planning the geospatial capability used to deliver geospatial intelligence and other geospatial products to key stakeholders. These stakeholders include the Australian Defence Force and Commonwealth/State authorities and bodies in support of national security functions and emergency responses.

The remuneration package includes superannuation, an Executive Vehicle allowance and, where applicable, relocation expenses. The salary component for this position may be negotiated with the successful candidate within the Defence SES Band 1 salary range.
Engagement may be negotiated on an ongoing basis or for a specified term. To be eligible for engagement, an applicant must be, or intend to become, a permanent Australian citizen. This position is a security-designated position. The successful applicant will be required to undergo a security assessment to the appropriate level.
