Jean Hailes for Women’s Health (JH) seeks to appoint an enterprising leader to manage its growing interests in research partnerships with institutions across the country. The role will work collaboratively with universities and medical research institutes to enhance JH’s clinical outreach, public health information and health professional education programs.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the appointee will be responsible for building the scope, reputation and impact of the program. Outstanding leadership skills and a strong knowledge of procedures and policies for responsible research conduct, and managing research misconduct, are essential for this role. Exceptional stakeholder relationship management skills and a contemporary knowledge of trends, issues and challenges in public health policy and promotion, particularly within the area of women’s health, is crucial for success.

The ideal candidate will have the demonstrated ability to identify and leverage research opportunities. With appropriate tertiary qualifications and an ongoing commitment to professional development, the successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and will be across all relevant research governance and compliance considerations.
