Senior Manager, Business Solutions - Technology

Reporting to the Executive Technology, the Senior Manager, Business Solutions will act as the primary interface between business units and the technology group for managing the overall relationship and provide solutions architectural guidance. You will lead a team that will assist in developing appropriate solutions and services by managing strong business relationships, and enterprise level architectural guidance along with appropriate architectural standards.
 
Your team will ensure that architecture is flexible and modern with a focus on business outcomes over architectural theory while ensuring security, IP protection and system integrity is maintained.

As well as the above, your responsibilities will include:
  • Identify the organization's technological, functional and business strengths, establishes data systems that leverage and capitalize on the knowledge of team members and finds ways to use that knowledge to maximize opportunities and improve business processes and drive business value realisation.
  • Formulate and define scope and objectives based on both end-user needs and a thorough understanding of business needs and business processes.
  • Drive pipeline of business needs into the technology organisation for development and support.
To be successful in this role, you will know how to leverage business partners and enterprise architecture to demonstrate technology's ability to solve real business challenges.  You have a passion for identifying and implementing the best practices throughout the organization and your stakeholder management skills are Jedi like, adaptable to all levels and situations.
 
You can understand the current and emerging tools for modern application development and lifecycle management. You have an eye for identifying opportunities for innovation and have a passion for improving application landscapes. 

As well as:
  • Masters of business or technology is preferred or equivalent industry experience.
  • Commercial experience articulating and managing financial returns or value realisation of investment in technology.
  • 10+ years in technology leadership experience and 5+ years of Enterprise Architecture experience.
  • Understanding of defining technology services, including service catalogues.
  • Experience in vendor management and evaluation.        
  • Knowledge of project management methods and strong service/product management skills.
