CSIRO’s Devices and Engineered Systems Program is a diverse team of scientists, engineers and research staff that develop devices and engineered systems for the benefit of industrial partners in aerospace, space, defence, renewable energy, telecommunications, minerals and mining, and transportation. Quantum devices, in particular, is an area for significant expansion and we are seeking to fill a number of exciting new roles across the group.
The 2D Quantum Device Physicist will be a key member of the Graphene Materials and Devices team, applying their specialised skills and experience to develop sensors and devices for emerging areas in quantum technologies. They will design & explore synthesis and fabrication processes to manipulate and control the quantum properties of 2D materials. This is a great role for a motivated science & technology professional, who has a passion for creating innovative and valued outcomes in the quantum area, to join Australia’s National Science Agency in an indefinite role.
Location: Lindfield (Sydney), NSW
Salary: AU$117K to AU$138K + up to 15.4% superannuation
