As the Marketing Manager, Risk Evaluation & Preparedness with CSIRO Health and Biosecurity (H&B), you will take responsibility for the development, execution, management and monitoring of day to day marketing activities around a number of defined technologies. You will also contribute to the long term marketing strategy for CSIRO H&B.
The Risk Evaluation & Preparedness Research Program is a core component of CSIRO H&B and addresses the challenges identified in the CSIRO Biosecurity Futures report. The Program is a leader in the development of animal models for dangerous pathogens, as well as for pre-clinical testing of vaccines and therapeutics.
In this newly created position you will be responsible for creating and implementing cutting edge marketing plans, strategies and tactics for our scientific advancements. Partnering with the Business Development Manager, Communication Manager and the Research Director, you will:
- Develop campaigns in concert with external partners and selected membership organisations.
- Define the growth drivers, and drive the launch of new products and service offerings.
- Lead the integration and reporting of marketing KPIs.
- Develop and implement on-boarding and marketing education workshops.
As a minimum requirement, you will be be degree educated (ideally in a bioscience, healthcare-related or business-related degree field), and have extensive prior experience in a strategic marketing role.
