Something a bit different! Our client is embarking on an exciting project at their Annandale based residential aged care facility. We require an accomplished Facility Manager to coordinate this development.
Here's a quick SNAPSHOT on the role -
The facility currently has 120 beds BUT will be in decommissioning mode for the next six months - it will gradually go down to 60 beds
Once at this size, the facility will undergo and a major refurbishment which will take around eighteen months to complete
After this, the facility will then jump into the commissioning stage as it goes back up to 100+ beds
The facility is located in Sydney's Inner West in the Annandale area
There is a large 'project team' who will be overseeing the building work PLUS a whole range of support staff to assist you

Here's a bit about the COMPANY -
One of NSW's most recognised providers and an organisation who continue to 'move with the times' (hence this major refurbishment that will introduce an innovative new care model)
Employing over 1500 staff this organisation continues to grow and improve everything they do - there is a real commitment to the development of staff at all levels
My conversation with the executive management team was around how much genuine support there is for managers at this company. This is highly important especially at the current time with some instability in the industry, royal commission etc
Some new and innovative schemes have been brought in for managers! You get to pick from a selection of incentives, select the one suits you best - we would recommend the 'one day off per month' perk!
Here's a bit more information that is relevant -
The salary for the role is negotiable but will be in the region of a $140,000 package
You will have a supportive Operations Manager who is on-hand to work with you on a regular basis
You will have an experienced Deputy in place to assist you plus 24/7 Registered Nurse coverage
We are looking to hire an AHPRA registered Facility Manager with previous experience managing residential facilities
Experience across commissioning, decommissioning and renovations would be great but not essential
