About the Role:
As a Senior Delivery Manager in the Gift Cards team,  you will play a key leadership role in ensuring the delivery of new and innovative initiatives, from both a technology and business perspective. You will be responsible and accountable for creating and implementing strategic initiatives and making tactical decisions in alignment with the overall Gift Cards strategy. You will be fundamental in the end-to-end design, development and delivery of the Gift Card strategy based on your knowledge of the business, industry, capabilities and resources. 

Reporting to the Head of Gift Cards, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining the overall roadmap and business strategy ensuring successful delivery of key strategic priorities. You will be customer focused and passionate about delivering best-in-class innovative ideas and initiatives.

In addition to managing the existing business strategy you will be responsible for identifying new revenue streams to ensure the team meets the business needs & goals.  Your strong stakeholder skills will enable you to lead a team as well as manage multiple stakeholders both internally & externally. 

Your technical knowledge and experience will enable you to lead and  coordinate the delivery of complex systems integration, by working closely with solution architects, corporate IT, payments technology, customer technology, & external vendors, to ensure end to end business & technical requirements are analysed & end to end testing delivers a quality outcome. 

You will be passionate about strategy and the end-to-end delivery of it. This is a role for a customer centric AGILIST with a proven track record of delivery. This is an extremely fast paced, successful and driven team, the successful applicant must have the passion and commitment to continually win!

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have proven experience as a Senior Delivery Manager or consultancy experience, with experience in the retail and/or financial services industry. You will have a passion for innovation, underpinned by a demonstrated ability to design strategies and deliver on them. You will have previous experience working in an eCommerce environment and a good understanding of retail and what good looks like for an eCommerce system & engine room.

Further to this you will demonstrate the following attributes;

  • A strong leader who set standards by example and has the ability to develop a hardworking and motivated team
  • Demonstrated experience working with Agile practices with strong understanding of the Agile methodologies and practices.  
  • Ability to develop business cases that articulate strategy, value propositions, required investments, and financial returns
  • Demonstrated ability to create presentations at a board level and ability to present to large audiences 
  • Demonstrated ability to organize governance, manage scope, program schedules, dependencies, risks, issues & overall program budget. 
  • You will need to have commercial experience, as you’ll work alongside the commercial teams to negotiate future scopes of work & a strategic alliance / partnership agreement.
