Job Description

The People and Performance Department, under the guidance of the Chief People Officer, consists of Health, Safety and Wellbeing; Workplace Relations and Talent Acquisition; Risk; and Payroll and Workforce Analytics. 

As the Manager People and Performance, you will drive People focused programs, initiatives and strategies that deliver results whilst improving safety and inclusivity throughout the organisation. 

This position will undertake an active leadership role in meeting Council wide objectives and will provide strategic leadership of the People Departments involvement in critical strategies and policies.

Salary will be commensurate with experience, plus 10% superannuation. Consideration may be given to 4 days per week arrangements or 5 days per week with shorter hours. 

Desired Skills and Experience

As the Manager People and Performance, you will collaborate with leadership and the wider organisation to enact positive change for the people at Stonnington, and therefore the people in our community. 

It is critical that the Manager People and Performance has a strong understanding of contemporary and best practice frameworks, processes and evidence-based techniques in either Safety or Workplace Relations to maximise people capability and performance.

Success in this positon looks like:
