This is a rare opportunity to lead a contemporary governance, audit, risk and compliance service across the organisation.  You will be an experience leader who thrives in a challenging, fast paced environment and who delivers efficient and effective customer service and timely advice on all governance related matters.

You will be responsible for leading and coaching the governance, risk and compliance team and championing good governance across the organisation.  Reporting to the Director Corporate Services you and your team will provide a contemporary governance service which includes policy development, legislative compliance, business continuity planning, audit and review functions and Council support services. .

To be successful in this role, you will bring extensive experience in governance, risk and compliance preferably in the public sector.  You will have strong interpersonal and influencing skills and an ability to obtain engagement from senior leaders across this diverse and complex organisation. 

You will enjoy all the City has to offer including a diverse and inclusive workplace, free gym membership and a good work life balance.  The City is offering an employment contract of up to four (4) years with a base salary in the range of $150,000 to $180,000 plus 10.5% superannuation.
