Reporting to the Director Corporate Services, the Manager Human Resources leads a team of HR professionals in the management and delivery of the full suite of HR, employee relations and organisation development services to the City. The Manager Human Resources plays a key leadership role in the formulation of organisation wide strategy and policy and works closely with the executive leadership team.

Intending applicants must bring significant experience in a HR leadership role in a large and complex organisation. We seek someone who has strong credibility and a track record of managing within a complex and intellectually demanding environment. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, together with appropriate tertiary qualifications are essential.

The City will offer an employment contract of up to five (5) years with a base salary in the range of $160,661 to $176,727, plus 9.5% superannuation. It will also match additional superannuation contributions up to a maximum 6% and provide private use of a motor vehicle (nominal package value $15,000).
