About the Role

As the Public Programs Manager, you will lead the development, planning, coordination and delivery of the Library's public facing programs, including events, awards and the volunteer program. You will also work across the Library to ensure that educational and other offerings are coordinated with public programming.

About you

To succeed in this role, you will have relevant qualifications relating to visitor engagement with public programs, event management and/or significant experience in the development and delivery of cultural events and programs.

You will also have a proven track record of managing successful and innovative programs at a whole-of-organisation scale within a competitive environment.  Additionally, you will be experienced people manager who is highly skilled in leading, coaching and developing your team to ensure work objectives are achieved.

  • a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand passport or
  • a citizen of another country with an appropriate visa that allows you to work in Australia for the period of temporary employment or if you are seeking ongoing employment you must hold a permanent visa that allows you to work in Australia.
