About The Role

Reporting to the Executive General Manager Strategy, Economics & Data, our Manager Economics & Pricing is responsible for leading multi-disciplinary teams and ensuring the effective delivery of our financial and regulatory functions. This role is also the key manager of the Pricing Submission, a critical business document which outlines prices to apply over a five-year period and forecasts water consumption, standards of service, new business initiatives, capital and operating expenditure.

You will lead an Economics & Pricing team made up of highly capable economic regulation and pricing specialists and focus on developing strategies, building collaborative and trustworthy relationships internally and externally, identifying and initiating improvement opportunities, and facilitating the development and delivery of the Essential Services Commission submissions, which will protect the long-term interests of Coliban Water and our customers.

To be considered for this opportunity, we are seeking an inspirational, dynamic and contemporary leader with expertise in strategy development and a passion for great customer and community outcomes. To support your transition into the organisation, you will have previous expertise in economics and pricing within a regulated environment.

You will also demonstrate high levels of emotional intelligence and exemplary communication skills which allow you to establish and maintain credible and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders both internal and external to our organisation, including Government officials. You are highly regarded for empowering your people and your ability to enhance efficiency, performance, and collaboration within high performing teams.
