About the Role

The Operations Head of Financial Accounting is responsible for managing the Statutory Reporting, Capital and Financial Accounting teams, as well as the provision of timely, accurate and relevant accounting, capital, cash management and taxation support. This will include:

  • Development of a high-quality financial accounting function for NSW Ambulance to provide operational managers and Finance teams with accurate and timely financial information.
  • Leading best-practice processes of all aspects of the accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger.
  • Leading continuous improvement in financial systems and processes to ensure accuracy and overall data integrity.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial statutory and policy requirements.
