  • Full time, Fixed Term of 12 months (with possible extension for a further 12 months), HEO8, $119K to $134K which includes salary, leave loading and up to 17% super.

About the opportunity 

In consultation with the Head Student Affairs and Engagement, the position holder will be responsible for identifying new engagement opportunities; building, maintaining and managing effective stakeholder relationships with industry, government and non-government organisations.

The position will be identifying opportunities for cross-faculty collaboration to develop a large range of work placements, projects and student experiences. Programs includes ArtSS Career-Ready, FASS 3999 and interdisciplinary units of study.

We are looking for a Business Development and External Engagement Manager who possesses:

  • extensive experience in external engagement including identifying, building and maintaining relationships
  • high level verbal, written communication and negotiation skills
  • strong leadership and proven facilitation skills with the ability to influence
  • experience in managing effectively a diverse group of key stakeholders
  • excellent time and workload management skills
  • sound knowledge and experience of the higher education sector
  • Postgraduate qualifications and/or extensive relevant work experience
