• Full-time, 18 months fixed term, remuneration package: $119K - $134K p.a. (which includes salary, leave loading and up to 17% super)

About the opportunity 

This role is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic Business School with an international reputation as a leader in business education and research.

Joining the Faculty’s Executive Committee as a pivotal member of the Dean’s Unit, you’ll provide strategic support, advice and planning critical to the success of the Business School.

This includes:

• managing strategic projects for the Dean’s Unit
• providing senior level committee support and strategic advice to executive team committees
• providing high level administrative services to the Deans Unit, including for example policy advice, developing and administering operational plans and resolving a broad range of complex operational and administrative issues
• managing project and operational staff as direct reports
• managing the efficient utilisation and deployment of Dean’s Unit resources
• managing communications and relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

• relevant qualifications and/or extensive administrative experience in a similar position
• great business acumen
• high level executive support experience (including for board or executive team committees)
• the skills and experience to lead administrative and operational services in a diverse and complex environment
• a proven record of successful staff management
• financial management experience and literacy
• excellent all-round communication and negotiation skills to work with a broad client base.
