About the opportunity
Reporting to the Operations Manager, this position will be responsible for developing and implementing research led marketing strategies, plans, campaigns and collateral that support educational programs and initiatives to position the Centre for Continuing Education as a high quality provider of continuing education. Utilising Business Development experience, the incumbent will be leading activities relating to student uptake and revenue growth as well as hands on program development through its life cycle
The Sales and Education Programs Manager is part of the management team of Centre for Continuing Education and works in close collaboration with the leadership team to ensure that marketing, communications and sales activities are integrated, effective, results driven and aligned with the universities strategies. The role plays a leadership role in the coordination of activities in the sales, programming and logistical management of a multi-faceted client-focused service environment.

Through community and industry engagement, the Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) contributes to the education strategy of The University of Sydney. Through an extensive program of course offerings, CCE provide continuing education opportunities for learners across a broad subject offering. CCE partners with other business units within the university to provide client and logistical services to support collaborative delivery of courses. This also includes an association with Human Resources’ Talent and Organisational Development in providing staff training for employees of the University of Sydney. In 2016, CCE conducted 1,773 courses with 23,938 students enrolled.
