The City is now seeking to appoint a Senior Manager Development and Strategy to support the delivery of innovative community infrastructure projects that will deliver the City's Sustainable Sydney 2030 vision.

Reporting to the Director City Projects and Property and working collaboratively across council, you will be responsible for leading a team that:

• guides the development, implementation and ongoing management of the strategic direction for the City's commercial and community property portfolio
• leads the development and delivery of the property acquisition and disposal program
• manages the project development phase including investigation, scoping, business case preparation and concept feasibility design for new capital assets and upgrades
• leads client negotiations with internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects are scoped and designed in accordance with Council strategy and community needs
• develops and implements plans of management for all Crown Lands within the City of Sydney area.

With appropriate tertiary qualifications and experience in infrastructure delivery and/or property portfolio development and management, you will bring exceptional people management. In addition, you will have demonstrated commercial skills and have a track record in innovation and delivery. High level communication skills, particularly the ability to listen to and interpret client needs, are critical to success in this role.
