The City of Sydney is seeking a highly skilled, dynamic and motivated Head of Audience, to join our Major Events and Festivals Team.
The Major Events and Festivals team delivers the City's Cultural Plan through a series of large scale, major public and cultural events including Sydney New Year's Eve, Sydney Chinese New Year, Sydney Christmas, Art & About, and Capital Works launch events.
The primary purpose of this position is to work with the Executive Producer Major Events & Festivals to develop and oversee the major event's Audience strategy, and to plan, manage and deliver a world class customer experience of major events and festivals produced by the City of Sydney.
Working strategically with the Executive Producer and an experienced major event's senior management team, you will have demonstrated experience working successfully with cross functional teams, outstanding planning and communications skills, leadership, mentoring and management experience, superior strategic marketing and communications, digital and audience development and broadcast experience
The Head of Audience will support the Executive Producer to build a team culture that is resilient and adaptive to change, with a commitment to good governance and public benefit.
