Central Highlands Water (CHW) is a leading regional water corporation providing drinking water, sewerage, trade waste and recycled water services to approximately 150,000 customers throughout the Central Highlands region of Victoria. CHW have a proud history supporting regional prosperity by providing excellence in water, sewerage and recycled water services to our customers and the community for more than 150 years.

Following the appointment of the GM, ICT & Digital earlier this year, CHW are searching for a highly experienced and forward-thinking Program leader to plan and deliver an ICT Program that will be crucial in assisting CHW achieve its goals. This role will contribute to the delivery of reliable and affordable water services and providing outstanding customer and community value. It will also support the vision of an inclusive and innovative organisation as it addresses climate change, growth, environmental impacts, social challenges and opportunities, while further supporting regional communities.

About the Role

Reporting to the General Manager of ICT & Digital, the position has accountability to ensure Programs, Projects and Business initiatives within the ICT Project Delivery Program are delivered and projected benefits realised. The role requires the effective coordination of the Program's projects and management of their inter-dependencies, including oversight of any risks and issues arising.

This role is also responsible for the delivery of CHW most important Digital program, the Digital Metering Initiative of which the primary objectives are to: Lead service delivery with specific accountability for the implementation of digital metering and intelligent networks (water and sewerage) and the ongoing strategic direction; ensure the customer experience is realised and maximised throughout; manage the portfolio, including Project Management, Change Management, Contract Management, Risk Management and Governance; provide support and thought leadership to internal stakeholders in developing service delivery ideas, strategies, and capabilities that focus on delivering exceptional customer experience and business uplift.

Providing strategic direction and inspirational leadership, you will effectively engage across a diverse range of stakeholders, respond to service reforms and focus on ways to address the changing requirements of CHW.
