Central Highlands Water (CHW) is a leading regional water corporation based in Ballarat, delivering high quality water, waste water and recycled water to more than 140,000 people. CHW provides fully integrated water services, in a true “catchment-to-tap-to-catchment” approach. The organisation is currently seeking to employ a high performing customer focused team leader who will be responsible for the professional, commercial and customer centric relationship management of key strategic land developments, property developers and engineering consultants.

Reporting to the General Manager, Customer & Community, you will provide key strategic and technical input into the achievement of the corporate objectives of the organisation and provide functional management, direction and support to the Land Development Team. You will ensure that all new development works are serviced in accordance with CHW obligations and that CHW act in accordance to business plans, policies, internal KPI’s and regulatory requirements.

You are a strategic thinker with the ability to synthesise information quickly and identify risks, issues and opportunities. You have strong commercial skills and an understanding of managing multiple development projects from design through to construction. Importantly, you have the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders including internal along with other government organisations, local business and community groups. You have a record of building high performance teams that work collaboratively and leverage knowledge.
