As Head of School of a diverse cohort, including a number of research centres, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of a high-quality learning environment, the delivery of research and teaching agendas, and providing enhanced academic leadership. Your passion for delivering an outstanding student experience and promoting continual improvement in teaching and learning will be clearly demonstrated as will your capacity to forge strong relationships across the University and externally.
Reporting to the Pro Vice-Chancellor, Health Sciences, you need to be an inspiring and strategic leader, as well as a skilled academic manager. With a doctorate in a relevant discipline and strong teaching and research credentials, your commitment to building research capacity along with people management and budgetary experience will be essential. You will also have exemplary communication skills demonstrated by your ability to inspire, motivate, influence and negotiate in an environment of change.
