About the Role 

The Director of Sales and Marketing for InterContinental Hayman Island Resort is responsible for inspiring, leading and developing the sales, marketing and revenue management resources to deliver a multi-year, innovative commercial plan with long-term above-market RGI performance, superior owner returns and a clearly differentiated Resort brand positioning at its core. The position focuses on establishing a superior entrepreneurial approach to profit generation and market positioning, whilst challenging conventionality and encouraging innovation.

A taste of your day-to-day

Manage key relationships with Resort leaders, third parties, and IHG regional teams to align strategic direction and foster collaboration. Responsibilities include attracting high-potential talent, promoting a culture of personal development, ensuring colleague engagement, and upholding IHG policies. Additionally, the role involves enhancing brand reputation, managing media inquiries, and ensuring compliance with OH&S procedures. The ideal candidate will drive brand activation, optimize guest experiences, and develop innovative commercial plans to exceed revenue goals while maintaining cost performance.

What we need from you 

Seeking an extensive senior Sales and Marketing leadership experience in international Luxury and Resort sectors. Must demonstrate commercial acumen driving profitability and brand experience delivery. Proven ability to manage high-level relationships, foster a culture of execution, and achieve results. Strong analytical skills, strategic planning, and proficiency in market trends analysis and media planning are essential. Experience in channel and trade marketing, resource allocation, and budget management required.
