About the role
 
We have an opportunity for a Senior Industrial Specialist to be part of our Industrial Relations team. The Senior Industrial Specialist provides expert and strategic industrial advice, advocacy, negotiation and management support services across the NSWPF.

This is a temporary role and employment is either as temporary employment under Rule 11 of the Government Sector Employment (NSW Police Force) Rules 2017, temporary assignment under Rule 15 of the Government Sector Employment (NSW Police Force) Rules 2017 or a secondment under section 95 of the Police Act 1990 up to 24 months.

Essential requirements 

  • Obtain and maintain the requisite security clearance for this role.
  • Tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent industry experience in industrial relations.
  • Experience in negotiation on complex industrial relations and/or human resource matters and ability to advocate in a court/tribunal setting, such as the Industrial Relations Commission.
