Tiger Airways' woes continue after the company announced that it had lost its third CEO in 18 months, only weeks after it had its operational suspension order lifted.

The company announced that Tony Davis will be leaving the company as of November 1, to be replaced by an interim CEO former chief executive of Silk Air, Chin Yau Seng.

''The company had maintained that Tony would stay on in his current role as Tiger Airways Australia's CEO until the airline was able to resume services in Australia and was in a position to implement its recovery plan,'' Mr Chin said.

Mr Davis will also cease his employment as an executive director of the company's parent, Tiger Aiways Holdings.
