Leighton Holdings has announced that Stephen Sasse, the company’s general manager, organisational strategy, has left the company.

Mr Sasse, who served as a senior executive through the reign of former chief executive David Stewart, is believed to have left the company a number of weeks ago on amicable terms.

Mr Sasse’s departure comes at an uncertain time for the company, with chief executive Hamish Tyrwhitt touring the company’s faltering projects, including Victoria’s desalination plant and Brisbane’s Airport Link.
