A private-sector style bonus pool has boosted NBN Co’s executive’s pay by an extra $2.3 million.

 

The NBN Co’s national report indicates that chief executive Mike Quigley and eight other top manages received a total of $8.5 million in the 2010-11 financial year, up from $6.2 million the previous year.

 

Mr Quigley’s total remuneration for the year was totalled at $1.96 million, up from $1.86 the previous year.

 

The release of NBN Co’s report also shows a gender divide within the ranks of the company’s executive team, with women making up only 12.5 per cent of NBN Co’s senior management team, 20.6 per cent of all managers and only 27 per cent of total employees.
